Bone marrow mononuclear cell angiogenic competency is suppressed by a high-salt diet

High-salt diets impair bone marrow mononuclear cell (BM-MNC) function, hindering their ability to promote blood vessel growth. Restoring the renin-angiotensin system in these cells can restore their angiogenic capacity.
