Abstract:
The reduction of graphene oxide at body temperature by using a biopolymer, chitosan, was proven to be successful. This biocompatible reduction approach will provide a versatile platform for applying graphene in biomedical fields including tissue engineering and therapeutic delivery. The use of this approach for therapeutic delivery is demonstrated.
