Background:

Carpal instability encompasses osseous and ligamentous injuries, classified as greater arc, lesser arc, or combined patterns.
These injuries commonly result from falls onto an outstretched hand, involving specific wrist positions like ulnar deviation and hyperextension.
The injury mechanism typically involves a force propagating from the radial to the ulnar side, leading to characteristic fracture or dislocation patterns.

Purpose of the Study:

To report a unique case of complex carpal dislocation involving the entire proximal carpal row.
To emphasize the occurrence of this severe carpal instability in the absence of any associated fractures.

Main Methods:

Case report detailing a complex carpal dislocation.
Review of relevant literature on carpal instability, fractures, and dislocations.

Main Results:

A case of complete proximal carpal row dislocation was identified.
