Injury to the axillary nerve after reverse shoulder arthroplasty: an anatomical study

Subclinical neurological lesions are common after reverse shoulder arthroplasty, particularly involving the axillary nerve. Proximity of this nerve to humeral implants, not glenosphere overhang, may increase injury risk.
