Clinical study of therapeutic ocular surface medium for persistent epithelial defect

Therapeutic ocular surface medium (TOSM) shows promise for treating persistent epithelial defects (PED), with some patients experiencing healing or reduced defect size. This novel therapy offers a potentially easily manufactured and widely available alternative to autologous serum.
