Results from a randomized controlled trial comparing two low-calorie diet formulae

This study found that both Allévo® and Nutrilett® very low-calorie diets (VLCDs) are equally effective for short-term weight loss, BMI reduction, and body composition changes in obese men. Ketonaemia and compliance were similar between the two VLCDs.
