Static end-expiratory and dynamic forced expiratory tracheal collapse in COPD

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients show varied tracheal collapse at end-expiration. Static end-expiratory measurements do not reliably predict dynamic expiratory collapse during forced breathing.
