Pressure ulcers significantly impact patient morbidity and quality of life.
Limited medical options exist for treating chronic pressure ulcers.
Electroacupuncture (EA) shows potential but lacks robust clinical evidence for pressure ulcer treatment.

Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate the effectiveness of electroacupuncture (EA) for patients with pressure ulcers.
To provide clinical evidence for EA as a therapeutic intervention for pressure ulcer management.

Main Methods:

Randomized controlled trial (RCT) with two parallel arms: control and EA groups.
Standard wound care provided to both groups over 8 weeks (40 sessions).
EA intervention administered to the EA group in addition to standard care.
