    Summary

    Amelogenesis imperfecta, a hereditary enamel defect, can be conservatively treated with direct composite veneers. This case report shows successful restoration of affected anterior teeth with no deterioration after six years.

    • The treatment involved direct composite veneer restorations on the mandibular and maxillary anterior teeth.
    • This approach aimed for a conservative and aesthetically pleasing outcome.

    Findings:

    • The direct composite veneer restorations demonstrated excellent durability over a 6-year follow-up period.
    • No signs of deterioration in the restorations were observed.
    • No associated pathology was detected, indicating successful rehabilitation.

    Implications:

    • Direct composite veneers represent a viable and conservative treatment option for Amelogenesis imperfecta affecting anterior teeth.
    • This technique offers a long-term aesthetic and functional solution with minimal invasiveness.
    • Further research into long-term outcomes of conservative treatments for Amelogenesis imperfecta is warranted.
