Thyroid Function Test in Pre-term Neonates During the First Five Weeks of Life

Congenital hypothyroidism (CHT) affects 13% of preterm infants. Lower gestational age impacts thyroid function tests, necessitating repeat testing in preterm newborns, especially those with respiratory distress syndrome (RDS).
