Background:

Mesenteric cysts are rare intra-abdominal tumors with diverse classifications.
Dermoid cysts represent an uncommon subtype of mesenteric cysts.
Mesocolon cysts are rare and often indistinguishable from mesenteric cysts until surgery.

Purpose of the Study:

To report a rare case of a dermoid cyst in the mesentery of the transverse colon.
To contribute to the literature on uncommon intra-abdominal cystic lesions.
