Abstract:
Advance directives are clearly formulated in the Leonetti law of 2005. They specify a person's choices about their health care if they are unable to express their wishes.They set out the patient's end-of-life decisions with regard to limiting or stopping treatment. Valid for 3 years and renewable, they can be modified or revoked at any time.
