Abstract:
Although metastasis remains a major cause of death, current therapeutic techniques used in the management of malignant disease are usually effective in achieving primary tumor control. There are many important issues to be considered in the management of pulmonary metastasis. Some of the more important issues, which will be discussed, include solitary v multiple metastases, when is cure possible, prognostic signs, and palliation.
