Abstract:
After a short introduction an overview of the inhabitants' handicaps is given. The inhabitants changed from inpatient care into a home-based care. Original quotations show how persons with disabilities perceived their new living situation. Additionally, it is shown in which manner these persons are involved in the scientific study. The experiences with the home-based long term care and the participation in the study are positive and indicate that self-determination is effectively supported by the living project.
