1Behavioural Sciences Unit, Faculty of Medicine, University of Hong Kong, Li Shu Fan Building, Sassoon RoadHong Kong.
Abstract:
A practical on communicating with terminal cancer patients had been previously evaluated and found to be a useful and efficient teaching method. This exercise evaluates the introduction of a role-playing aspect. The role-playing model elicited greater changes in students' views and more students felt that they learned something from it than from the standard presentation.
