Telomere length shows no association with BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutation status

Telomere length (TL) does not appear to be a reliable marker for cancer risk or genetic status in individuals with BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutations. This study found no association between TL and cancer development or carrying these mutations.
