Autonomic dysfunction, measured by the EZSCAN test, is linked to increased atherosclerosis risk in older Chinese adults. Higher EZSCAN scores correlate with elevated carotid intima-media thickness and brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity, indicating greater cardiovascular risk.
