Lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) affect a significant portion of aging men.
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a common concern impacting quality of life.
The relationship between LUTS and ED requires further investigation.

Purpose:

To determine the incidence of ED in men with LUTS.
To explore the correlation between the severity of LUTS and ED.
To identify risk factors associated with ED in this population.

Summary:

A study of 995 men aged 40-80 found LUTS in 42.81% and ED in 76.18%.
Among men with LUTS, ED prevalence was 82.16%.
Logistic regression confirmed a significant association between ED, aging, and LUTS severity (P < 0.01).
