Crustacean biodiversity as an important factor for mosquito larval control

Crustacean biodiversity in new ponds significantly reduces mosquito populations and enhances the effectiveness of the larvicide Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti). Higher crustacean diversity means fewer mosquitoes and faster Bti action.
