Abstract:
A six-gene prognostic colorectal cancer hypoxia score was generated from expression data from in vitro experiments and microarray datasets and was validated in two distinct patient cohorts. The approach followed by the authors is original and biologically sound but could be limited by potential biases and other methodologic limitations.
