Appendicitis is a common cause of acute abdominal pain in adolescents.
Laparoscopic appendicectomy is a standard surgical procedure for appendicitis.

Observation:

A 17-year-old female presented with symptoms initially mimicking appendicitis.
Post-appendicectomy, she developed small bowel obstruction due to ingested magnetic beads.

Findings:

Five magnetic beads caused a severe small bowel obstruction.
Surgical intervention, including laparotomy and small bowel resection, was necessary for treatment.

Implications:

Highlights the critical risk of intestinal complications from magnetic object ingestion in children.
