Dental pulp polyps contain stem cells comparable to the normal dental pulps

Stem cells were successfully isolated from pulp polyps, a pathological dental tissue. These cells exhibit characteristics of Multipotent Mesenchymal Stromal Cells (MSCs), offering a potential new source of stem cells.

- Pulp polyps can serve as a potential source of stem cells, acquired non-invasively.
- This finding expands the understanding of stem cell reservoirs in pathological dental tissues.
