[Preoperative level of information in urologic patients]

Questionnaires were used to investigate the level of information among 25 patients with benign hypertrophy of the prostatic gland which was treated by transurethral resection. In some patients the level of information was low. There was no correlation between the level of information and the patients' own evaluation of the information procedure, but a significant correlation was found between the patients' level of information and their education.
