[Disorders of adaptational resources in workers engaged in methanol and formaldehyde production]
Abstract:
The article presents results of studies concerning human adaptational potential. The authors proved relationships between dysadaptation and influence of methanol and formaldehyde on health of workers engaged into the specific production. The results demonstrate preclinical neurohumoral dysregulation of cardiovascular system. Dysbalance was seen in cardiorespiratory functions, with lower cardiorespiratory index and higher values in respiratory tests. Integral adaptational parameters--adaptational potential and functional state level--that describe complicated structure of interrelationships characterizing functioning level of cardiovascular system, prove stressed regulatory systems and inadequate adaptation of the workers to chemical production conditions. The data obtained enable to use the studied methods for screening examinations to determine workers' health and degree of occupational factors' influences, so early diagnosis of premorbid health disorders is possible.
