High-throughput Crystallization of Membrane Proteins Using the Lipidic Bicelle Method

This study used simulations to investigate bicelle stability, finding they destabilize at higher temperatures. Uncharged lipid mixtures showed no stable bicelles, suggesting charge or dopants may be necessary.
