  • Positive correlation between suggestibility and gray matter volume in left superior/medial frontal gyri (motor areas).
  • Negative correlation with gray matter in left superior temporal gyrus and insula.

  • First demonstration of correlations between hypnotic suggestibility, cortical structure, and resting-state functional connectivity.
  • Findings highlight the role of brain regions involved in imagery and self-monitoring in hypnotic suggestibility.
