[Contribution of the ethologic concept to the clinical approach]

Abstract:
Using an ethological approach in the context of Geriatric Psychiatry, an introductory attempt was made at the practical application to 5 cases of Alzheimer's disease, with an average evolution of 15 years. The analysis of several behavioural schemata can be of help to demonstrate the relevance of such an approach, and also to identify some of the most fruitful areas of investigation. Their study may help to enrich and modify current options to care.
