Masquelet technique for treatment of posttraumatic bone defects

Summary

The Masquelet technique, using antibiotic cement spacers and staged bone grafting, successfully treated posttraumatic bone defects in 9 patients. This method achieved osseous consolidation in all cases, showing promising results for long bone defect management.
