Total ankle replacement outcomes are similar across osteoarthritis, posttraumatic osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis patients. This study compared patient-reported outcomes after ankle arthroplasty, finding comparable results among different arthritis types.

- At two years, PTOA patients maintained significantly higher SF-36 general health scores. No significant differences were found in AOFAS, other FAOS, or satisfaction scores between groups at one or two years.
Conclusions:
- Early outcomes following total ankle replacement are comparable across patients with posttraumatic osteoarthritis, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis.
- Patient-reported outcomes, particularly pain and general health, show specific trends but overall functional scores and satisfaction are similar between the groups at two years post-surgery.
