Peripheral endothelial dysfunction, measured by reactive hyperemia peripheral arterial tonometry index (RHI), is associated with coronary artery disease (CAD) in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients. Impaired RHI independently predicts cardiovascular events in CKD.
