Anabolic exercise in haemodialysis patients: a randomised controlled pilot study

High-intensity intradialytic progressive resistance exercise training (PRET) effectively builds muscle and strength in hemodialysis patients, similar to healthy individuals. However, functional capacity improvements were only observed in the healthy group.
