A subliminal inhibitory mechanism for the negative compatibility effect: a continuous versus threshold mechanism

Subliminal inhibition strength and onset are affected by prime activation. Lower prime activation delays inhibition and reduces its effectiveness, supporting the continuous subliminal inhibitory mechanism.
