Immunosenescence in the nursing home elderly

Nursing home elderly show altered T-cell and NK cell phenotypes, including fewer naive CD8+ T-cells and more regulatory T-cells (T-regs). These changes in immune cell populations highlight aging-related immune shifts in long-term care residents.
