  • Subretinal fluid was observed in the left eye, treated with triamcinolone acetonide.

  • This case represents a rare presentation of BDUMP with multiple iris and ciliary body cysts.
  • High-quality photography and ultrasound biomicroscopy documented these anterior uveal tract findings.
  • The patient's subretinal fluid resolved after periocular triamcinolone injections.

Implications:

  • Anterior uveal tract involvement in BDUMP may be more common than previously reported.
  • Ultrasound biomicroscopy and OCT are valuable for detecting anterior uveal pathology in suspected BDUMP.
  • Early diagnosis and management of BDUMP are crucial for preserving vision.
