Magnetic resonance imaging in acute mastoiditis

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) accurately detects acute mastoiditis and subperiosteal abscesses in children. This multiparametric MRI approach offers high diagnostic performance for these middle ear infections.

- Multiparametric MRI demonstrates high accuracy in diagnosing mastoiditis and associated subperiosteal abscesses.
- MRI is a valuable tool for evaluating acute mastoiditis in children.
