Persistent leukocytosis-is this a persistent problem for patients with acute ischemic stroke?

Persistent leukocytosis in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients is linked to higher stroke severity and poorer outcomes. Early identification of persistent leukocytosis may help predict prognosis and guide future anti-inflammatory treatments.
