    Summary

    Laser Raman spectra reveal a linear correlation between a specific Raman band and hydrodesulphurization (HDS) selectivity in Co-Mo/Al2O3 catalysts. This finding aids in developing more selective industrial HDS catalysts for cleaner gasoline.
