Surgical Treatment in Patients With Myelodysplasia Before Using the LSU Reciprocation-Gait System
Abstract:
Surgical procedures for myelodysplastic patients being prepared for treatment with the LSU reciprocation-gait system should correct any contractures or deformities of the lower extremities that are severe enough to prevent brace fitting. Most of these procedures should be done when the patient is between six and nine months, to enable the lower extremities to be in braceable position by the age of nine to twelve months.
