A translation and adaptation of the revised form of the Denver Test is presented. This test is the most frequently used screening method for development in English-speaking countries, and the most recommendable in outpatient pediatrics. A description of the Test is made in which advantages, disadvantages and method of application are emphasised. Finally, the different pathological conditions capable of causing retardation in relation to each area of the Test are described, in order to facilitate its interpretation.
