[Genetic variances of generations for endosperm traits]

This paper deals with the components of genetic variances for triploid endosperm traits of generation populations derived from a cross between two pure lines. Based on the genetic constitution of endosperm in reference populations and the genic effects under an additive-dominance model, three categories of genetic variances, i.e., the total one, the variance among plants, and that of self generations, are calculated and listed in table 1-3, respectively.
