Summary

Newer 3D FLAIR magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequences significantly improve the detection of brain lesions in multiple sclerosis (MS) patients, particularly in cortical and infratentorial regions. These advanced sequences offer superior sensitivity compared to conventional MRI protocols.
