Introducing speed bumps (SB) in broiler litter can trigger lameness from bacterial chondronecrosis with osteomyelitis (BCO). Modifying SB design and timing did not significantly increase BCO incidence compared to standard SB, but wire flooring remained the highest lameness trigger.
