Abstract:
Class III malocclusions are usually related to growth and mandibular posture, so we must detect the exact causes of mesioclusion i.e., functional, skeletal, or combind from the start. Functional mesioclusion is easily managed but skeletal mesioclusion is usually more difficult than functional cases. The author and coworkers treated this case using the Wunderer Activator and TMA multivertical loop arch wire. Therefore, we got good results and the results were as follows. 1. Anterior cross-bite was corrected, therefore facial profile was improved. 2. Posterior occlusal seating was improved. 3. Down and backward rotation of mandible occurred.
