Summary

Increased first-trimester nuchal translucency (NT) measurements are linked to major birth defects in healthy infants. Specifically, NT measurements at or above the 95th percentile indicate a higher risk for pulmonary, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and musculoskeletal anomalies.
