The relationship between interleukin-18 polymorphisms and allergic disease: a meta-analysis

Interleukin-18 (IL-18) gene polymorphisms IL-18 -607C/A and IL-18 -137G/C may offer protection against allergic asthma and dermatitis, respectively. This meta-analysis found these genetic variations are associated with a reduced risk of specific allergic conditions.
