Is Hashimoto's thyroiditis a prognostic factor for thyroid papillary microcarcinoma?

Papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMC) with Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT) showed no significant difference in lymph node metastasis. However, HT was associated with poorer fine-needle aspiration results in PTMC patients.
