Germ-line and somatic DICER1 mutations in pineoblastoma

Germ-line DICER1 mutations are a significant predisposing factor for pineoblastoma (PinB). This study confirms DICER1 as a key susceptibility gene, with mutations leading to complete loss of DICER1 protein in affected tumors.
