Abstract:
Crisis is a term finding frequent usage in our everyday language. As such it conveys the meaning of a turning point, a period of change with the implication of stress and frequently upheaval. In psychological usage this meaning is defined more specifically, for crisis is used in a theoretical framework with many implications for health care professionals.
