[Adjacent rotated cutaneous flap to repair deep electrical burns at functional positions]
Abstract:
In this paper, five cases of electrical burns in 10 special areas were treated by adjacent rotated cutaneous flaps. The positions of injuries included 5 open joints injuries, 4 deep burns in heel region, 1 in perineum region. The results were satisfied except one case due to muscle necrosis and amputation was undertaken. This method is simple, effective, safe, reliable and suitable to repair injuries of any part of the body. It can shorten the course of disease and reduce the occurrence of complications.
