[Studies on the identification of mineral medicine wumingyi]

In the paper the morphological characters, physical properties and spectral analyses(IR,AES) of seven samples collected from different regions are investigated by means of comparison with reference standard pyrolusite. The result indicates that the domestic commercial traditional medicine Wumingyi is practically limonite, therefore further investigations should be made to find out the correct mineral sources.
